In October 2005 the first National BSA Rally was held at Swan Hill in Victoria. Mick, Tony and Jim undertook the round trip journey of over 1000 kms riding almost identical 250cc BSA C11 motorcycles. OCTOBER 2008: McLaren Vale, South Australia to Gold Coast, Queensland | |||
In October 2008 the fourth National BSA Rally was held at the Gold Coast in Queensland. Peter, Mick, Les and Tony rode from McLaren Vale to the Gold Coast - a distance of 2,307 kms. Again, the bikes were 250cc BSA C11s. Single cylinder motorcycles almost sixty years old and capable of a cruising speed of 70 kms per hour! Read about the journey HERE. |
